These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Verdict AI's AI compliance automation platform and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

By creating an account or using our Services, you represent that:

• You have the authority to bind your organization to these Terms if using on behalf of an entity
• All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete

2. Description of Services

Verdict AI provides an AI-powered platform that automates the creation and maintenance of compliance documentation for AI systems. Our Services include:

• Automated generation of compliance documentation (model cards, risk assessments, policies, etc.)
• Real-time monitoring of regulatory changes (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, ISO standards)
• Compliance Extract™ technology for system change detection
• Optional legal review services through our lawyer network

3. User Accounts and Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Ensuring your account information remains accurate and up-to-date

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Use our Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
• Sublicense, resell, or redistribute the Services without our permission

You retain all rights to the information and data you submit to our Services ("Your Content"). By using our Services, you grant us a limited license to use Your Content solely to provide and improve the Services.

• Subscription Fees: You agree to pay all fees for your selected plan as described on our pricing page
• Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
• Refunds: No refunds except as required by law or at our sole discretion
• Price Changes: We may change prices with 30 days' notice for existing customers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verdict AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Verdict AI from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate your account at any time:

• You may cancel your subscription from your account settings
• We may suspend or terminate your account for Terms violations
• Upon termination, your access to the Services will cease
• You may export your data within 30 days of termination

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, except for injunctive relief which may be sought in court.
